I have been having some re-occuring elbow issues and Jack has given me, good sound advice on pre-game stretches. Thanks again, Jack, see ya soon at the Hill. Edby EdLee - Off Topic Discussion
if you are trying to make advance players move up by eliminating their tournament disc, it may backfire. I want to add that of the 5 0r 6 Ice Bowls that I have played I have never received a disc. These are charity events that help communities stock their foodbanks. I don't want to discourage anyone from playing this one. People need the help and it makes Disc Golf look Good.by EdLee - SN Tournament Information

I think the advanced and intermediate ams are due an explanation for this players pack change. It was done at the Lee Naquin and at the Pass the Stuffing tournaments, without a clear pre-warning. There has been a lot of grumbling about it and you are basically going to kill off those divisions. Is this a push to try and move players up because it might go the other way and players move down or nby EdLee - SN Tournament Information
I have not seen much talk on the website about The Dogwood Classic. I just want everybody to know that this is going to be a good one. No FLOODING and the courses look great. Memphis in May has the Beale Street Festival, with a great line-up of performers, too many to list. If you like music in a club, the Hi Tone has Dick Dale on Friday, Melvins on Sat and Lucero on Sunday. Downtown isby EdLee - General Discussion
I am not for SE, but I am for buy-ins. SE promotes under the table deals between clubs(venders) and sponsers(disc manufacturers) and from what I'm hearing, money never actually goes into the pot. Buy-ins on the other hand would be open to anyone willing to pay the fee. I think that the price should be reasonable also, around $200 to $250. This is about what a player usually spends on a tournamentby EdLee - General Discussion
I want to thank Gary, John and everyone who helped run this tournament, I had a great time. Want to congradulate Dewey Fowler on his win in Advanced Grandmaster. I also want to thank Jeff and everybody at Wall Doxey for putting up with us.by EdLee - General Discussion
First we need to find out what their plans really are. Then we can organize a unified petition and a formal letter from the BOD to the Mississippi Parks Dept. and the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce. I estimate that I will drop about $150 into their local economy, multiply that by 100 players, comes to $15,000 in one weekend. There are two tournaments a year. Mississippi needs to hear how muchby EdLee - General Discussion
Gary, I will be there, and can't wait. We have already reserved campsites. I will be there on Friday the 23rd for the doubles and can help set up. Thanks for burdening the expense. Edby EdLee - General Discussion
I didn't think I was trying to reinvent, more like expand. I believe the Champion of the SN should be more prestigious without non qualifying pros buying admission. But I also believe that the SN should have a large Tournament , I called it an open because it would be open to everyone. The SN players that qualify would pay normal fees, while the players that don't qualify would pay a higher fee.by EdLee - General Discussion
I'm talking about dividing the existing SNPC into two parts. The first would be to decide the SN champion, while the second would be for the money. The second would encourage the top pros to attend. The winners of the first would receive entrance fee paid and a chance at the big payout of the second.by EdLee - General Discussion
I'm not for it. the SNPC should be for deciding the Champion of the SN. The SNPC should be divided into a championship and an invitational open. The players of the championship should be from the ten states that make up the SN, and play in a qualifier tournament. They would receive a nice trophy and bragging rights. They also would receive a paid entry into the Open. This would be non-refundableby EdLee - General Discussion
