75% of the tournamnents in 3 states. SN needs to do something about establishing a ratings system. I cashed like 5th in one day tournament with very few pro's and now I'm locked into Open for 4 tournamnets? So it's ok for people to stay in the division they dominate for years with win after win, but move up and try to see what it's like, finish 5th, and take some money to recoup your entry fees,

Can't tell you how much I miss coming down there for this tournament. We probably went 6-7 years in a row and camped at Veterans. Just can't do it for a one day.... Good luch with the tournament, maybe one day they'll decide to reopen the campgrounds!

Ok so what exactly are the current rules regarding divisions? I cashed in Open in a small one day tournament in October 2012 for $30.00, which I accepted. I would like to play in the Dogwood, but doubt very seriously that I would be competitive at all in open, especially with Orgill in the mix. Am I required to play Open or can I play advanced? I don't think anyone would accuse me of baggin b

Luckily, my groups found all of our lost discs. We spend a BUNCH of time looking over the course of the weekend though. They'd just disappear!

Here's a disc return story for you, A few years ago I'm sitting at a bar down at the casinos on a Friday night and my phone rings. I answer and a lady starts saying she found my golf discs. I was like great I'll give you a call back this weekend and I can get it from you. BTW what type of disc is it, I ask. She says oh, it's a whole bag full, probably about 15 discs in all. I was like WTF?

That is pretty cool, although I'm not certain how it works. So 1000 is what a "scratch" golfer would shoot on the same course? and your rating is 1000 - (that "scratch" score - your score X 10)? How is the "scratch" score determined?

Some others will probably chime in with info, but I'll let you know about the Shelby Forest schedule. Shelby Forest (Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park) is located in NW Memphis. Watkins/Hwy 51 area. Anyway, we play on Sundays at 8, 10, and sometimes 12. $2 - $7 entry, sometimes flip up doubles, sometimes A or B division singles. Also play on Wednesday nights for the next few weeks. Right

I don't know Griff, I like the idea of having a "Memphis" Disc Golf Club but I also like how things have been going lately. For instance in the past we collected $1's for the "club" at our mini's and over the years Shelby Forest,my home course, was neglected as the money collected there went elsewhere.
