All are invited to attend a send-off party for Nick Robichaux, who will be shipping out to Iraq via Camp Shelby on January 5th. The party will be Saturday after the tourney, so if you know Nick, me or Connie and want to pass a good time please come. We will have a keg of Bud lite so if you drink anything else, bring it. We will also have pork/sausage jambalaya to eat. Time: 7:00 pm Place:by ArcHyzer - General Discussion
Acerun #8 is one of my most favorite holes of all 36 in Acadiana Park. Hopefully when the tree does go, we can replace it with a pole, the bigger the better.by ArcHyzer - General Discussion
Michelle, Yes, Connie R and Robin A will be there. I would assume other ladies will also attend.. David R.by ArcHyzer - General Discussion

Dex, Don, I am planning on being there. Connie and I have missed only 1 gobbler in the past 10 years and see not reason add to the total. I will see if I can get a couple of more Lafayette GM's to come up there to play. Davidby ArcHyzer - General Discussion
Since I am now play prograndmasters, I no longer have a dog in the hunt, but played am/adv masters for years and really didn't see a good reason for both. I like Bill T's concept of am's getting a disk in players pack and trophy. In lean times like we are facing, this will keep entry fees low and reward them just for playing. Advance should be payed out in plastic (plastic pros!).by ArcHyzer - General Discussion
connie Robichaux is the same as Connie Robicheaux in pro women it should be spelled like the first one Connie Robichaux. Please fix her points to the correct name. CORRECTED - John kby ArcHyzer - General Discussion
It wasn't just pork that made congressmen to turn away from principal and change their vote for the bailout the 2nd time around. It was pure scaremongering by the criminals running the federal government. They were telling congressmen that if the bailout bill didn't pass the house the 2nd time, that the stock market would drop 2000 to 4000 points and marshal law would be enacted. Mike and Mike, The only person who is not a socialist or fascist still running for president is Chuck Baldwin, candidate for the Constitution Party. McBama and the parties they represent do not believe in either the free market or the constitution. The corrupt East Coast Rockefeller Republicans (McCain is one of them) believe in free market profit and socialized losses (fascism) which is essenby ArcHyzer - General Discussion

Samson, You are not on the wrong site, We are discussing economics and the politics that drive it. We depend on hydrocarbons for our sport not only to take us to our favorite course but to tourneys in as far away places as we can afford. The high price of hydrocarbons will impact disc golf, those polyurethane and monourethane plastics are made from oil, as the dollar sinks in value the moby ArcHyzer - General Discussion
Go get em Mike! The federal bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will double the goverments debt (yours) and every household from $225,000.00 to $450,000.00. This is nothing but a socialist bailout of very wealthy risktakers. These bondholders want to reap the benefits of the market but push the liability on to the taxpayer when the going gets tough. They are nothing more than criminal gaby ArcHyzer - General Discussion

There were good times to be had by all! Congratulations to Jet and Dex. Dex was smooth and consistant both rounds, but Jet's game was just on. Thanks for UPS Steve, Carl, Dixie representing the NOTeam. Even Brent stepped it up to the Old fart Pros and he did his usual 1 round wonder then partaking of the liquid canned goods limited his second round output. Dex, You must have posted while I was trying to figure out what I was writing. I guess you and Joe will be in for this one. If we don't have any others we might have to play Promasters or we might need to bribe Brent with some liquid canned goods into playing with us if we need 3 players for a division. Don/Russell, will we need a minimum of 3 folks for a division? If so, any Grandmasters and Open Women from out of town planning on attending? Kind of lonely around Lafayette in these 2 divisions. All of the above 60 guys have moved to greatness. Any women stepping it up? Anyway, it's great to see that some of the other folks in Lafayette have got some nads and have been playing Open (Greg, Dby ArcHyzer - General Discussion
Less than 30 minutes: Acadiana Park, 36 holes with a number of ways to play them. Favorite course that I ever played is not permament, but should be. One of the most gorgeous public parks in the south that is ideal for discgolf: Scotlandville Other favorites: Highland Chickasaw All parks that I nominated need to have elevation change, which is hard to find close to the gulf coast so tby ArcHyzer - General Discussion

Incredible video of the state of the presidential race with music by King Soloman.
