All are invited to attend a send-off party for Nick Robichaux, who will be shipping out to Iraq via Camp Shelby on January 5th. The party will be Saturday after the tourney, so if you know Nick, me or Connie and want to pass a good time please come. We will have a keg of Bud lite so if you drink anything else, bring it. Since I am now play prograndmasters, I no longer have a dog in the hunt, but played am/adv masters for years and really didn't see a good reason for both. I like Bill T's concept of am's getting a disk in players pack and trophy. In lean times like we are facing, this will keep entry fees low and reward them just for playing. It wasn't just pork that made congressmen to turn away from principal and change their vote for the bailout the 2nd time around. It was pure scaremongering by the criminals running the federal government. They were telling congressmen that if the bailout bill didn't pass the house the 2nd time, that the stock market would drop 2000 to 4000 points and marshal law would be enacted. There were good times to be had by all! Congratulations to Jet and Dex. Dex was smooth and consistant both rounds,but Jet's game was just on. Thanks for UPS Steve, Carl, Dixie representing the NOTeam. Don/Russell, will we need a minimum of 3 folks for a division? If so, any Grandmasters and Open Women from out of town planning on attending? Kind of lonely around Lafayette in these 2 divisions. Less than 30 minutes: Acadiana Park, 36 holes with a number of ways to play them. Favorite course that I ever played is not permament, but should be. One of the most gorgeous public parks in the south that is ideal for discgolf: Scotlandville Other favorites: Highland Chickasaw All parks that I nominated need to have elevation change, which is hard to find close to the gulf coast so tby ArcHyzer - General Discussion
