OK, I saw Brandon Jones ace hole 14 @ 389'. That's the longest I've seen. Nothing but air and chains. It was crazy perfect. Two great rounds Rusty, Way to go. At least I got the one & only pro ctp twice in one round. How is that possible? You had to be there.by mbanks - General Discussion

Rusty, We usually have a group or two at Ford Park every holiday. I'll pm my number. It's hard to get me to drive past Ford to go to any course but sometimes I'm a wee bit flexable. BTW, to mention my favorite alternate course layouts at Ford, there's Red, White(cement), Blue, Bluedirt/Reddirt, Special K (if you're feeling froggy) and Backwards "B".by mbanks - General Discussion

Congrats will. Love a good ace story. Thursday I saw an ace at Ford Park. It was the 3rd time I saw one there that I wasn't even playing. I saw Mark, Rusty & Luke across the way so I walked over to join them. As I waited on 9's tee to watch them play 8 cement (366' uphill), Mark threw a glo champ starfire in the basket. Great news and great pix. Keep in mind the idea of putting in object/targets like timbers. Of course we want baskets but if the permision-to-use comes before the funds, I think objects are awesome fun.by mbanks - General Discussion

Vic, That capslock thing is funny. I wish I could remember #11. Is there a distinct descript? Tell me about the disc too? I have to know. Don't be ashamed if it's a wraith on a 180' hole. I aced a 200 footer with a Sidewinder; I stood at #9 @ Ford a year ago, looked in my bag at the time and saw one disc that hadn't aced, so that's what I threw, ching... I had a great time playing the course today. Kev, I guess you guys picked up trash on hole 5. It was clean. I only played the front 9. More directions info; Haughton exit is # 33. South about 1 pitch putt to light. Left/East for about 2 miles to stop at tee. Right/East about 4 miles to Doyline. Right/South over tracks about 9 miles to SP #1 on left. The park is between Shreveport/Bossier and Minden several miles south of I-20. Coming from Monroe, Minden is the best exit. From Bossier on I-20, Haughton is the best exit. From either exit, go to Doyline, then south to State Park #1. I'm ready to play! I have played the orange flags several times and it is already one of my favorite courses. Eddie, I played a course downtown Houston. I loved it. It was cool being around the high rise buldings. I walked there from our hotel next to the ballfield. I think that's Minute Maid Park. Mickby mbanks - General Discussion

He finally won. I think he beat 10 people and only won $30. That sucks by itself. I didn't look to see if the tourney was in Arkansas. I played my first tourney in novice. I was 40 years old.
