Rresults! We had 69 players on a day with record heat and only 2 DNFs. NO heat injuries and plenty O' fun was had by all. Great competitive spirit all the way around. I can't remember fielding a single complaint which may be a new record for me as a TD. The groups for round 1 are scrambled so you could ask for a particular group at sign up. The second round will mostly be by division so you would be playing with the women.

This is a very low key tournament and the other women will be glad to explain the rules as you go. The reason I run this is to introduce new players to tournament play so it should be a perfect fit if you can come, and cheap too!

2012 Free As A Breeze Sat. June 30th Huntsville - 1 year ago

I decided to get this up early so everyone who is interested can make plans to be there. The Free As A Breeze free disc golf tournament (Yes free as in no entry fee) will be held Saturday June 30th at Mastin Lake Park. It will be a Southern Nationals sanctioned event (Not PDGA). For obvious reasons this will be a trophy only event. That means no payout beyond trophies to each division win

Thanks James. It's pretty amazing to see 70 people show up with no schwagg or money on the line. Just good fun and competition. That's my idea of the right kind of disc golf tournament.
