The Hilton Garden Inn has a nice bar/lounge. The rooms are pretty nice! Better than Red Roof for sure!

Thanks to everyone that attended this event! I personally had a blast, great cards, great people and a whole lot of fund raising for The Scouts. As always my conversations with Jim O were awsome! All I have to say is if you miss this tourney you will have missed one of the best in this area! I personally know that these guys have been working really hard to make this the biggest one for years to come! We are lucky to have Zagone, R.B., Jason, Jeff, Sandman, Froman, Eddie and all the local players that do what they can to keep our sport thriving in this area! Thanks from me to all of you!

I too had an awsome time this weekend at the tourney. Got to play doubles with Big Kev and Big John from Shreveport. Always good to see the pros play! Met some great guys from NO Team! Talked to Shipley today. He said the City is on board for any clean up needs we have. He is meeting with a guy that handles clean up at the park so if anyone knows of anything that needs attention contact Mark Shipley. I am stoked that everybody is coming up for ORO X! We played the Original Course this morning! It's still alittle slick in some places but overall it's in good shape! It was good to be back on that side of the course. All should be perfect for ORO X! Thanks again to all the people that are putting in work out there!

I am so stoked about the park and all the folks pitching in on the clean up! The new board members have been putting in some long hours getting club affairs in order. I know they appreciate the extra help. This ORO is gonna be a blast. I just wish my pal JUST CHILLIN was still talkin to me. I was really starting to enjoy our conversations. Highwater is playable now and the original course still has some water standing in several areas. There is pretty large sand deposits in the back of the original course. Time to start the work days over there. I will keep everyone posted on the status more often as we get started working.

OK Chillin! Like I said I will be waitin on ya! I can't remember ever talkin smack at a tourny but if you say so I guess it happened. I hope we get to play on the same card again so I can make sure to smack talk you this time. I always play for fun so whatever I say is also for fun.
