What a great weekend of disc golf. We had a nice banquet dinner with the distribution of players packs *picture will soon follow* It was a great pack this year! After 4 rounds of Disc Golf, Donald "Giggler" Elsworth won by ONE stroke over Clayton Nash. Honest Question about payout? - 4 weeks ago

To the TD's of Southern Nationals. How many of you actually post the payout of your tournament without adding (players packs, ace pot, ring of fires, lunch, etc . . . ). I do however see both side of the coin when it comes to payout.......there is added cash to an event which is in the form of lunch, ctps, ring of fires, etc . . . that stuff was purchased with money. Just wanted to announce that today was a very productive day for the NPC Championships and Sponsors! Three big sponsors/companies have really helped out this years event. One company is wanting their name hidden until the banquet to be released! The other two big names are INNOVA and Dynamic Discs. I can't wait to show you the players whats in store for you!

We still have Zero Women Pro Open players signed up and last year I added $700 to that division alone! Then you look at Men Pro Open and I ONLY have 3 players signed up there! I added $1400 just to it alone. I am used to people waiting until the last minute, but one week away is really cutting it close. Better get signed up.

^^^^ What Dustin said.............I don't see a need in paying for a ratings system if your not going to use the numbers for anything. They have zero meaning to them if your just creating them to have a number. Link them to a division requirement. *It will not completely stop the bagging, but can hopefully cut it down* TD's with smart phones can easily look up a player if needed on ratings.

Not even joking you! WE stayed their two years ago and my roomate had his truck broken into over that Friday night. Stole his disc golf bag and everything! Parking is limited in the Light. Great rate because it was in a bad neighborhood. Plus it is not near the course. Find something in Brandon, MS which is across town.

Maybe there should just be a Team Cup Challenge and all this fuss about people living in a city or multiple teams from the same city can come to an end. Alan just wanted a unique event to happen where cities came together and formed a team. He only said 12 teams of 6 players could form. What about Charity events? How about a rule that allows you to play charity events in any division *ONLY IF APPROVED BY THE BOD* Such as Ice Bowls and you still earn your points in YOUR division such as intermediate or Advanced. Any thoughts. That way the BOD are all in the know prior to said event.
