I had this very question about me and my friend who is throwing in the Wall Doxey tournament on the 25 & 26th.. I was told they changed the rules last year and will not be grandfathered in. It used to be 6 months no cash and you could move back down but they are saying now it is non cash in 4 events to be able to move back down. I made a topic asking about it on here a cpl weeks ago. Mr. Day.. Me and him was talking last night, and when he plays in Saturday's tournament and does not cash, the will make him available to play ams, since it will be his 4th in a row non cash. But if he cash's then we will play adv. I appreciate it guys. I'm just trying to figure out what division we can play in. He has never played a tournament in pro, only advanced and am.. The last tournament he cashed in advance was pass the stuffing in '10. I don't want us to sign up for the wrong one and get disqualified if we went with am.by BROSE - General Discussion
Thanks Mac.. According to the rules on there he can drop down and play am's b/c it's been over a year since he cashed in adv. If I am reading it right: 1.6 A player may move to a classification lower than a classification they have not accepted money in (Pro Division) or prizes in (AM Division) in the previous six months.by BROSE - General Discussion

I am planning on throwing wall doxie with a friend who cashed in pro last year at this same tournament. He hasn't played a doubles tournament since then. I check his stats on here and made sure of it. Will we have to play in pro? Or can he jump down to my division and play? Just want to say that the course looks great and is playing great. I went up there yesterday and played a round with fish and some others yesterday and it was in the best condition that I can ever remember it being in from the short tees. Would like to thank the Meamon Demons for putting on the best tournament I have been in so far in my short lived career of disc golf.
