Always great to learn about a new course. Folks in the area can now see some DG on TV, courtesy of Disc Golf Live video magazine and Florida Parishes TV 17. Don't know the broadcast schedule but some info can be found here: This is a local station, not public access but not much more advanced. If you catch a show, drop them a note and let the broadcasters know you're watching. Joeby Disc Golf Live - General Discussion
Thanks, Joe T. You'll see some familiar faces in there, all us old timers will. Newbies should watch to see the faces of disc golf's early days. Yup, no love from the D these days. My support there always came from the owner. He's stepped aside and co. is primarily run by others nowadays. Not intent on maintaining market share, apparently, nor helping to grow the game. Lots of new optionsby Disc Golf Live - General Discussion

Another option to consider would be discgolfscene.com. Seems pretty user friendly, finances routed through paypal. At least something to compare and contrast, I'm sure there are a few other options out there as well. Joeby Disc Golf Live - General Discussion
For second round play (final rounds) among the lower-placed groups, we used to give the winner of each card a disc. Didn't do this for cards where players were likely to finish in the prizes, just for the mostly "out of the running" folks. The best scoring player would pick up their disc when turning in the scorecard, so this doesn't slow down awards. Gives folks a reason to pay attnby Disc Golf Live - General Discussion

Hi, Shane - Not sure what form your video will take when all is said and done, but if there's a portion which might make a good promotional segment for a future episode of Disc Golf Live, give me a shout. I'm thinking of something next spring or early summer to work up some advanced publicity for next year's SNAC (or the SN in general). Bet it gets there Tuesday. Not much mail being delivered Monday. Thanks as always for helping out, JT.
