Have yall design disc golf courses before? If not I would suggest getting some advice from some people that have designed courses. You have a couple that are around South Louisiana that are very good and would help out. You could talk with Mike Kernan (City Park and Lafreniere Park in NOLA) and Shane Seal is a good designer also. If you are not going to get help checkout this web sight:by La Cote DGC - General Discussion

I have never been there, but all the up north people talk great about this place. Manager need proof. Numbers are the life line of managers. Is there anyway for ya'll to can figure out how much money disc golf brings into the park and present it to him? If he is against DG he is not keeping track of the money brought in.....Just random thoughts.....GOOD LUCK!!!!!by La Cote DGC - General Discussion

I would like to add one thing to Bernie has said. You say SN doesn't grow the sport the way PDGA does. Well the only reason there are as many disc golf courses in Mississippi today is because of SN and JimO. You see about 15 years ago Baton Rouge DGers and Mobile DGers use to call Mississippi the "dead zone", because there was NO course between us and them... Dustin, You don't understand the extra paper work and extra money it takes to run a SN and PDGA event. Most players are not PDGA members so it will cost the player 10.00 more to play. That cuts down on attendance, which cuts down on payout. It is a no win problem for TDs. I suggest you run a duel sanction event and see what the TDs are faced with, then come back and tell us how easy it isby La Cote DGC - General Discussion
