I have been looking forward to playing this one again since last year (it was my first howler). It was very well organized and everybody had a great time! I would hate to see newer players left out because some folks don't like using two courses. The "BIG" tournaments are what help grow the sport, which will help get more courses started and maybe get local parks and rec. departments

All the guys from MCDGA on the MS coast had a great time. We all shot well on that course, many of us under our normal game. Dylan, after seeing the scores, I agree with your comments about Greenwood being short and an easy place to pick up birdie's. Thanks Tony, I was just trying to not think about the score card mix up from the first round and my bad throws! (I got dinged 2 strokes, I believe, along with everyone else on my card. My score keeper was under the impression we should follow par for the course, as listed on the card. It messed our scores up and actually made them higher. I was just going by what I was told by my pro partner.

Mississippi Coast DGA had a great time! Southside definitely knows how to throw a tournament! This one is going on my list of "Must Attend" tournaments for the future! (A few of them are in Mobile, BTW). The food was AWESOME, though my eyes were bigger than my stomach, so starting the second round, I was a bit lathargic. I got a trailer on Tuesday and I am not military. The man even asked me if I was, so I guess it is no problem. He was aware of the tournament and told me that there is a lot going on at the park that weekend (easter egg hunt and some other things), so they may go quick! See you guys there! JC, I just recieved an EDGE (Educational Disc Golf Experience) grant for the upper elementary I work at in Ocean Springs. Portable baskets and discs to set up "temporary" holes on campus and teach the kids the fundamentals of the sport. Get em started early! I would like to talk with you about your program as well.
