Winners that I can remember were: Open: Drew Sockwell Advanced: Dustin Smith Advanced Master: George Collins (who btw won the very first Spring Fling It in 1983) Intermediate Women: Kathy Johnson Sorry but I can not remember who won Intermediate Men or Novice. I had an awesome time and played with a great bunch of guys in Advanced Master. Just wish I would have played a little better becausby jcb - SN Tournament Information
Hey Nathan we may neede a little help. Gonna go to Mcfarland in a little while and see what all clean up needs to be done from the flooding. Most of the time holes 6 & 7 catch most of the washed up trash. Hopefully we can get it playable before the weekend. I have a new basket for hole 18 also, just gotta put it together. I will probably try to do that this afternoon and get it installed. Onlby jcb - SN Tournament Information
The water at Mcfarland has risen even more this week and on top of that #18's basket got stolen. The city workers have destroyed some of the locks and so that basket was not locked and I guess the first theif that seen it took advantage of it. Please be on the lookout for any baskets for sell online. Thanks! Hopefully the water will go down before tournament time but with rain forecasted for theby jcb - SN Tournament Information
I have been throwing the D4 for a couple of weeks now and I am loving it. I am getting great distance with them and I love how smooth they come out of your hand. Can't wait until I can buy a stack of them in the mid 160's, which is what I normally throw. My D4 is 172 and I am really impressed that I am getting the distance I am in a heavier weight than what I normally like to throw.by jcb - General Discussion
You can look on the leaderboard of any event I run and it has Intermediate because that is what ams really is called. If people would use this correct wording then it would do away with all of the confusion.by jcb - SN Tournament Information
Well I sure hope all you Advanced Masters are not staying home.by jcb - SN Tournament Information
I had a great time as usual at Tish. Played with a great group of guys and met some new friends. Thanks to Bill McCarty for running this event. Also thanks to Bill Breeken and all the park staff for putting up with us all once again. Congrats to all the winners. Maybe next time I won't leave my game in bed on Sunday.by jcb - SN Tournament Information
Better yet get some Latitude 64. Hands down the best plastic on the market right now.by jcb - General Discussion
Since everyone is talking about the course, I would also suggest to NOT PAINT THE TEE BOXES,it makes them very slick! Don't know where they came up with that genius idea.by jcb - SN Tournament Information
Had a great time Saturday. Thanks to Bill Bullington for running this event, Nathan Pitts for helping Bill, the people who got the course ready to play, and anyone else who had a part in putting this event on. A big thanks to my partner Billy Drake also, had a great time playing with you and it was awesome to get a win, been a while for me. That second round was fun and it was a battle all the waby jcb - SN Tournament Information

Awesome to see some SN players doing so well. Keep it up Cam and Matt! Karen Jaskolka from Huntsville is also doing really good. She is on the lead card in the pro Master Women's division, only four off the lead. She was leading until the last round yesterday.by jcb - General Discussion

I just came from there Dustin and there is no room for 18 holes. I found out it is being installed by the elementary school there and a company donated $1000 also. I also believe that company is volunteering putting the course in. Unfortunately they installed all of the sleeves wrong. I am going back after work and talk to someone about doing them correctly. I will do them myself if they will allby jcb - General Discussion
Just got word that there is a 9 hole disc golf course being installed in Muscle Shoals today at Gattman Park. There was an object course there years ago because me and my brother used to play it when we were kids. Not sure who is even putting it in because no one in the disc golf community knows anything about it. I guess it is the parks department putting it in. Gonna ride over there shortly andby jcb - General Discussion
Bowling Green Am Championships, always has around five of the newest discs out by each manufacturer and always a shirt also. Sometimes there are two shirts. I remember in 2010 there was a dri fit shirt and and regular cotton tee, five discs, a uv mini, water bottle, and some stickers and coupons thrown in. I know it's not an SN event before people start blasting me but it does have the best playeby jcb - General Discussion
According to the flyer Castle Boys there is no Novice division offered at this tournament but I could be wrong.by jcb - SN Tournament Information
I dont see why all the talk about am master or adv. master. There is only one of them that is a division so why waste the time discussing it. I don't care what you wanna call it. The discussion was for us adv. masters on whether we like to play longs or shorts. Somehow people that are not even Masters players have decided they should voice their opinion too when they was not asked to.by jcb - General Discussion
