I have been using DGU for all my events for a few yers - great service, and the data options are excellent. I can download full spreadsheets of info, download only info needed for reporting, or just list hole sponsors or etc for an event. The 6% is the best I found for smaller entrie fees (rather than $ + %), so for my $20 entry fee rec players they spend $1.20 for the online option. Also, Iby HB - General Discussion

This event is on a new course in Bowling Green, the hardest of the 8 courses in the city. Long mostly wooded (with 30' wide fairways): http://www.bluegrassdiscgolf.org/BGTC.html] Jeff puts it on each year to give players in the area a chance for SN points . . . so I can kick his @#$%& in the SNPC! In 1983 I won mens (there was only men and women divisions) on the orgional Shelby Forest course. I also got an ace, and used the ace pool to but a home made mini basket from Daryl Lynn, as it was my daughter Laura's first birthday (feeling guilty - she was at a friends house in Memphis). I did leave two first run lime green Vulcans with HB on the bottom at hole 18 in city park. One long of the basket in the water just off shore, and the other on Friday in the middle of the fairway (well - just right of the trees about 330 ' from the tee). Big reward if you deliver to me!!!!by HB - General Discussion

One thing I offer novice (new) playes is a non-sanctioned round (pdga or SN) and let them play either the morning or afternoon round or even both, just competing for a small trophy for the best round. I charge them $15 and give them a DX leopard and DX avair and mini, and help them off the first tee as needed. Works well for new players who can not committ a wholeday to the golf outing like usby HB - General Discussion
Looked over the course yesterday . . . will be a good addition to the region with a chance to throw longer shots and work on up shots. Most of the holes have scattered trees that come into play, and depending on the black water (pavement on old airfield) most holes can have a risk / reward factor off the tee instead of just throw long and approach. Good opportunity for additional am tees on allby HB - General Discussion
Just mailed entry . . HB Pro GM . . . . Danny-I plan on bringing the RV, look forward to seeing yall.by HB - General Discussion
I like to play the pro tees just to get the most challange out of the course, and to see how bad the young pros are beating me by being able to compare the scores. Alot of long tees just mean that us old guys that play with pain will try to use two good 275' shots rather than one 550' shot. And I do like playing with guys my age . . .by HB - General Discussion

Rollers are good, it is where the disc ends, not hits the ground.. . . they made the field go to 8 points, with the last point being at the old temp hole 8 (on the island green) on the temp 9 that is used in the 30 hole layout at 7 Oaks (about 370'). The temp 9 was not moved due to local park dept. issues . . . so we will just play the 21 holes The field keeps getting thinner as you go down tby HB - General Discussion
The guys wil set it up this afternoon, but 300' was about a 7 last year (if it ends up in bounds). You will get three shoots, best scot is scored.
