Just to let everybody know what happened to my term as the PDGA Coordinator for Louisiana: Shortly after the Red River Revel several things happened that had a great effect on my outlook on life, family and disc golf. Just wanted to let everybody know that Dad (Ron Byrd) was in an accident this afternoon passing thru Oil City on the way back to New Mexico. Car was hit by oncoming truck on two lane bridge....tore entire driver's side off. He broke two cervical vertebrae, but is in pretty good condition. Results with unofficial ratings are up. There are no ratings for Open, Masters and Advanced in second round because there weren't enough propagators (rated players) playing the red tees. Intermediate Women, Novice and Juniors were not rated because they played the blue tees each round. I had a feeling that this would happen....the only thing we could have done would have been for all to play same

Should be there before noon. There is construction along US 71 / US 165 at the lake. Airport Road is on the west (lake) side of the highway. Electric Utility wires on hole 9 are a part of the course. No drop zone for hole 10....re-tee with one stroke penalty.
