Yes Robby we are about sure that we will have Advanced men grouped with the Pro's and the courses are about 5 miles apart. I am sure there will be people traveling between both places.

Sorry Barry I might be able to come out in between rehearsals and parties for a few...but am tied up from 8:30am-10:15am then I think there is a reception at noon or 1..gotta meet with other alumni.

I am sorry but am going to be involved in the UNA Homecoming. I am marching in the alumni band and have practice from 9am to 10am and then something at noon. The game is in the afternoon. I hope everybody enjoys their time here. Sorry I will not be around.

I believe all of the awards were given out at the Amateur and Pro SN Tournaments. It might be nice to list on this thread who won just for everybody on here to see. BTW I thank everybody who has supported me in the past and I was floored when I received an award this year. I won the Volunteer of the Year award. Icey

What a tournament...81 people showed up for wonderful weather...course was a little muddy but still played very well. Scores and payout will be posted soon. Thanks to Jim Speth, Robert McDonald, James Burton, Barbara Daniels, Deborah McDonald and the other helpers for putting on this tournament. We are working hard to get another course in here in Florence...I hope that we can count on other's support in this endeavor. I know that Dwayne Davis has made some tshirts that he is going to donate some of the money to the course. Hopefully they will be at several tournaments including the Memphis one in May. Icey

Yes we had a total of 110 players today...for the amount of players the flow went reasonably well all things considered...Hope everybody has a great time here..it is our best turnout since 1994 and we are working hard for everybody.

If anybody knew...Kathy is related to the Sherrods of Mobile and I have recieved notice that Joe is already up there with her and the boys are on their way up. We also found out the visitation is at the Leighton Baptist Church in Leighton Alabama on Saturday from 10-12 and the funeral right after that. This is the info I got...the obituary will be out tomorrow..... The funeral is at the Leigh

2nd round underway...we had 42 souls to show up to play. Wonderful pro group today. After 1st round: 1st Pro Open Clayton Nash (-8) 1st Pro Women Marla Lenox (+3) 1st Intermediate Will Corey (-3) 1st Advanced Grand Master Dan Mikul Sorry cannot remember the other divisions though know the two in am women were tied after first round. Heard from Will tonight. He said that they had 61 people in attendance. Only know a few places. Clayton Nash was in first place in Pro Open by 1 stroke. Leslie Easterling was in first place in Pro Women (2 in attendance) Michael Burns and Brad Sweet are tied for 1st place in Advanced. Randy Sharp is winning Amateur Mandy Sharp is winning Amateur Women. That is all I know for now.

I think I bought one at the SNAC but not sure the number would have to go out and look on my bag if it is still there. Will get back to you. Beth Okay went out and checked I have #88 for the 08-09 SN Bag Tags. BTW do the girls only get those or do they get a girly tag too...just wondered.
