I must have been in a really good mood the day I played Pa Davis because I like that course a lot but it consistently gets negative verbal reviews from SN golfers and does not seem to get any love on those DGCR lists. Oh well, that's just like, your opinion, man.

I really like DG Course Review. Wisconsin and Minnesota seem to have some of the most beautiful courses.

Thanks, Jacques and your volunteers. It was a great event. The food was spectacular...great people and weather. Could not ask for a better Saturday! Good call on changing Hole 1 over the basketball courts. I remember thinking this seemed dangerous when we played there last year. Congrats on the new course! A great addition to Lafayette.

For any out-of-town folks that have not played City Park in a little while...the course is looking better than I have ever seen it look. The fearless NOTeam volunteers have worked their tails off to beautify the course in many ways. Tee boxes have been groomed, new tee signs were installed and huge swaths of impassable rough were removed from a few holes. There are even new "stairs"

Y'all probably know this but discgolfplanet.tv is broadcasting live from the Memorial Champ. in Arizona. All of the top pros are there. Their coverage seems to get better and better every time they do this, with more than one camera being used and pretty good audio. It's not ESPN but it's better than nothing.

Tons of speculation happening...and can you blame anyone? Prodigy should have spent some of their mountain of cash (cough) on a PR consultant. People scratching their heads is not a great way to control the conversation. Nikko needs a proofreader. It's like reading a 10th grader's diary. Only time will tell, but if these pros are excited to be throwing nothing but Prodigy plastic, maybe they will be really great discs. Seems like there would be a big learning curve on a completely new line of discs, but maybe it does not matter when you are Will Schusterick. He can probably throw a dinner plate 500 feet.

Alternate shot might be better for your second format. I don't like the idea of teams not really knowing what they shot due to inflated scores (3 + 2 = 5 when it could have been a 2 on the scorecard). Two cents!

I am not sure how a video of this can be located because it was a really quick cut away they did...probably only lasted about 20 seconds. Great event yesterday. The course was sweet...very challenging and fun to play. The OB was a real test. I have not seen that many circles on scorecards in a long time! Thanks to Jacque and his staff...Lafayette know how to put on an event. P.S. Next time, please portion out the boudin! Ha ha.
