Grass Roots Disc Golf in Memphis has them for presale. They're coming in next week but you can lock in your order with him by pre-paying. $18 per D1 or D4 and $3 shipping if you're an out of towner. Find Grass Roots Disc Golf on FB if interested. I bought two of each. I've already thrown them (Cam had some at the Hill) and really like what I saw...by FatbackBob - General Discussion
I posted this in a different thread, but it seems relevant to gripes about payouts and TD's: Seems to me the easiest way to avoid these scenarios is to post a payout sheet at ALL events. Many of the events I've been to around the country have them and we do it at Circle 3 events in Memphis. List all of the per player fees, show added cash in a different color and break down what divisionby FatbackBob - General Discussion

This confusion over the language on flyers is interesting. Regardless of the fact that Ams receiving a pack sounds like Ams and Advanced (or all Am divisions), the more important point is the history of how things have gone in the past. I played Advanced for two years and I went to every SN event within driving range from Mobile to Lafayette to Little Rock. I got a player pack disc at everyby FatbackBob - SN Tournament Information

Millington Central Disc Golf Club will be placing a large order of discs for the students next week. I am asking if anyone who makes the Naquin is interested in getting a disc with the above stamp, please visit Jon Ray at the Grass Roots Disc Golf table. He'll be collecting money and he'll have a posted picture of the stamp. All discs will be pre-orders and they'll cost $20 each. We'rby FatbackBob - SN Tournament Information

Not wanting to get in this one really, but the PDGA pay scale is 40% in open (minimum). You can't even turn in the results on the TD excel sheet with less than 40% payout. For Open Men, the pay table even says "strongly encouraged 45%" and offers numbers for 50% scale. But... The Am payout is 45% as well and for 11 spots, only 5 get paid. So, he's one off - > Not the end of tby FatbackBob - SN Tournament Information

Fantastic event. I had a blast and I don't plan on missing this event going forward. Last year 72 and this year 89 players. Lunch provided and a huge ring of fire. Added cash and four added holes (loved those and never birdied D but its a great hole). Well done Jonesboro and thanks Doug Trantham for running it!by FatbackBob - SN Tournament Information
Is there going to be a hard cap or should people send in a check if they're concerned about not getting in? Can't wait :)by FatbackBob - SN Tournament Information
Circle 3 Disc Golf would like to sponsor two holes. Can we bring the $35 on the day of the event? Also, Robby Uhrman (Open Men) & Annie Dickerson (Am Women) will be there. This will be Annie's second event ever. She was wondering if she should play Am Women or play with the Novice division. Thoughts?by FatbackBob - SN Tournament Information

My back is still screwed up (Had an MRI today), but I'm coming down with Todd Bagwell and Cam Colglazier. I'll have some Legacy Discs for sale (www.legacydiscs.com) including their brand new midrange called the Ghost. I'll be selling all the Legacy stuff for $15 a piece which is cheaper than their retail ($18 for icon plastic). I'll also have a full color Star Wraith (168 grams) with a Sby FatbackBob - SN Tournament Information

Man....... I really wish I could read Keith and Adam's edits... Ugh... Zich, from one public high school teacher to another, I love you buddy. But, come on man... Who really cares about payouts? Disc golf can't be a bottom line deal or it's never going to balance out. This isn't a career for anyone (excluding about 15 people globally). Gallon size freezer bags for your towels so your back up towels stay dry. Finally, birdie bag is clutch if you use it right. When it is really raining, dry disc as much as possible with a towel, but don't expect it to get bone dry. Won't happen. So when it's fairly dry, hit it on top and bottom one the side you intend to grip and ... VOILA!!!! Dry disc and perfect grip... That's my secby FatbackBob - General Discussion
