Hi everyone, I have already sent an email to my Alabama Disc Golf Newsletter recipients but wanted to extend my news to my SN family as well... And I DID say that...in a round about way... :o) "Let's say you are putting downhill from 10 ft. out with OB 30 ft. behind the basket. You miss and it rolls OB. You have the option of reputting or taking it a meter in from the OB and putting uphill. (10 ft. vs. 27 ft.) Most people don't think of this. You'll be one rule smarter!" Hi Chris, If the road is defined as OB and the patch of grass that's touching your disc is connected to the IN BOUNDS grass then I would say it is safe. HOWEVER, if there's a big patch of grass in the middle of the road but asphalt surrounds the patch then it is OB. Give us something we can work with. Give us ideas of what is needed and/or wanted. Fill in the blanks... "If the PDGA offered __________ then I would consider renewing/joining." Oh boy... :o) Sorry I was out of town yesterday... Bob, I have been thanked by the PDGA for running events so I can't say anything about that, but I see them in person a lot. But maybe it would be nice to incorporate a letter of appreciation and a "certificate" type thing to send the TDs. If that's what people feel they need for running an event. I honestly haven't been thanked

Victor, I find it hard to believe that they would strike back with a "How dare you question where the funds go". I hate that you got that impression and have held onto it all these years. Becoming a member of the PDGA helps aid in the promotion of the sport on a professional level. Being a CURRENT member helps the guarantee of seeing our sport excelling. Supporting an association that promotes disc golf is enough for me to want to renew every year. We wouldn't be playing this game if it wasn't fun so let's focus on the other things that will help us see disc golf on ESPN on
