Daniel and I will be there I also hear that Justin Kruetzer and Kevin Rarick from Nashville are planning on coming down Should be a great opportunity to get some early practice in for the SNPC!by bazkitcase5 - SN Tournament Information
it better be near indestructible though - lot more money in one of those than a candy or drink machine I know it is sad, but if people will steal baskets, it is only a matter of time...by bazkitcase5 - General Discussion
in the pdga ratings, if a player shoots 60 or more points lower than their rating, then they are no longer counted as a propagator this is to account for cases where a player may get injured, show up late or in doug's case, get wasted and shoot abnormally lower than their rating predicts they should and there is no way a 54 on a course in calm conditions and a 54 on the same exact course inby bazkitcase5 - General Discussion
It is not unreasonable to charge a vendor fee and make them pay sales tax on items they sell. That is pretty common, although it could only hurt the players if any TDs/Clubs decide it is not worth the hassle and jump through more hoops when they could just let the players fend for themselves for lunch. However, it is common because a vendor is there to make money and is therefore leaving withby bazkitcase5 - General Discussion
but it does seem like by definition, a vendor is there to make money, so it makes sense to charge a vendor fee and all that, but if selling food as a type of fundraiser to go back into the tournament/future tournament/or even the park and course itself, then it seems like backwards thinking to try and tax that - not saying I would be surprised, but seems like they would only be hurting themselvesby bazkitcase5 - SN Tournament Information
Bill, what if the vendor isn't making any money? What if a TD is offering food at a cost during a tournament in which all proceeds go back into the tournament as a type of fundraiser? A lot of events do this as a way to have more added cash to the event and/or cover more expenses/fees.by bazkitcase5 - SN Tournament Information
The Columbus Disc Golf Association is excited to be the host of the 2013 Southern Nationals Pro Championship! The tournament will be held August 31 - September 1st, 2013 in Columbus, Mississippi, featuring 3 quality, challenging courses in Propst Park, Lake Lowndes, and Lake Lowndes Gold, to test your skills and find out who will be this year's Southern Nationals Pro division champions. the 2nd course has not been finished we were told to stop working on it over a year ago, so no more work has been done since then there is however, a course at propst park in town, which is only about 15 minutes from the lakeby bazkitcase5 - General Discussion

Alternate Best Score worked well at Wall Doxey I thought It is like Alternate Shot, but both players get to play every shot. However, the pressure is still on both players to make good shots in order to score well. If one player makes a good drive, the other player has to make the putt, etc. If the first player makes a bad drive, the pressure is on the 2nd player to make a good shot in ordby bazkitcase5 - General Discussion
if its not too late for suggestions and u would like to try a different type of doubles format, why not try Alternate Best Shot on the Jungle? even though Average Shot tests both players on the team, it doesn't really feel like your playing doubles - your merely just playing singles while being a part time cheerleader part of the fun of doubles is discussing strategy and figuring whether orby bazkitcase5 - SN Tournament Information
I was advised to stick with the SN guidelines and have a minimum of 3 1/2 rounds, regardless of what par was for the course, when I asked about it several months ago. I tend to agree with what JohnK said above.by bazkitcase5 - General Discussion
I was originally thinking of doing something like that Zack, but when I asked about only playing 3 rounds at the championship a few months back, it was overwhelmingly in favor of playing 4 rounds, that 3 rounds was not enough for a championship event Mike, yes, if it doesn't fill up past 90 players, then I would do the 1 pool and it would be easy but I have to plan on getting more than 90 pby bazkitcase5 - General Discussion
The 3 courses to be played at the SNPC this year are going to be Lake Lowndes (long tees), Lake Lowndes Gold course, and Propst park. Because the gold course sits on top of the regular course, both pools can not play those 2 courses at the same time. However, I would like to challenge the Open players and let them play the gold course for 2 rounds, which would make it impossible for the B pby bazkitcase5 - General Discussion
I don't think they r worried about burning bridges pretty sure if one of the best players in the world wanted to go back to Innova if this did flop, they would accept them with open armsby bazkitcase5 - General Discussion

I do not think Jared's skill level is skewed this is the kind of player he is - massively talented, but usually has consistency problems, just take a look at his tournament results however, this course plays to his advantage really well because it is fairly open and he has a cannon for an arm - keep it in bounds and make some putts and you can shoot well here and that is what he is doingby bazkitcase5 - General Discussion

Cam is taking the world by storm and I'm a big fan, but in regards to LAST season, I don't see how anybody could pick against Matt Orum. Cam played 28 events, won 7, second 8, third 5 Matt played 23 events, won 18!, second 4 Matt also blew everybody away in winnings and score. A lot of Cam's most recent success is during the current season or in a big PDGA event.by bazkitcase5 - General Discussion

has nothing to do with winning or not winning - simply does not make sense i mean hole 1 at bigbee 1 from the short tee is literally a JUMP putt.... also, none of the "long" tees are longer than 300 ft...by bazkitcase5 - SN Tournament Information
