Here is a list of SN events over the past 2 years that had either 1. high number of players 2. a high total payout 3. a high payout per person. Seems like there are plenty of big 1 day tournaments. To me I dive a long way if I win won't it worth it. So there are three not to. It dose not matter what event comes to mobile the smackdown is on we are not a club. Quoteteeboxx.com Advanced Security Features Smash-proof triple-pane glass window Armored shell Remote lockdown system You can also add on a web cam they said. Also the standard maintenance package includes "72-hour response to vandalism repair and clean up". Sounds like a fun event. I really like the format.by manglin - General Discussion
Lloyd, I will bring my pop-up tent for shade and dryness. I plan to set it up around tourney central if that's okay. JUDGES can use it for any tournament work. -Micahby manglin - SN Tournament Information

Me and Heath Gandy are supposed to be partners in AM. We're gunning for that free SNDC entry. In our "team meeting", we decided Heath is going to be the one to throw 550+ ft drives, and I'll be the one to sink any putt within 50ft...should work out okay. JK, obviously. Can't wait to see everyone there.by manglin - SN Tournament Information
Before approaching the BOD - it might be good to get some high-level concepts for the new site. Let's use this thread for that. A few that come to mind for me are below. What else can we dream up? Kevin, I'm cracking up at QuoteIs a new site worth a dollar? LOL In some form of seriousness, the SN may not "exist". I assume you mean some legal entity. However, the SN BOD does exist b/c it's made up of 7 real people. I've even met a few of them. If those 7 real people would like my expertise, I offer it. I have been a software developer of some sort for the past 8+ years. I'by manglin - General Discussion

Here's another picture to ponder. It has lots of leaves, "debris", and lots of trees. Since 803.01B allows me to move my lie back along the line of play, is it then okay to move my lie back - where my real motive is to avoid a tree between my lie and the target - because I'm on a leaf, I can move back a meter or two to get a better angle on my approach?by manglin - General Discussion
Good responses so far gentlemen. I may be "using" this rule every time I land on a leaf. Continue the discussions...by manglin - General Discussion
Imagine my disc came to rest on the pine straw, by the tree, in this image. Now read this rule from the 2013 pdga rules. QuotePDGA 803.01 Obstacles And Relief B. Casual Obstacles to a Stance: A player may obtain relief only from the following obstacles that are on or behind the lie: casual water, loose leaves or debris, broken branches no longer connected to a tree, motor vehicles, harby manglin - General Discussion

Hey guys, is anything going on tomorrow? Any last minute course work, early setup, or Friday afternoon doubles? I'm off work tomorrow, and I probably have some availability to help with anything that's needed. I've got something going on mid-day. -Micahby manglin - SN Tournament Information
You would think the PDGA would get at least one lawyer, who plays music, disc golf or both to review their rule book and its subject facts prior to releasing it into the wild. I'm glad you are on our side Kevin.by manglin - General Discussion
So QA 16 asks about holding the branch during putting, not any other type of throw. 802.04, part D makes it clear that the stance during putting is more strict than during other throws. Maybe what they are clarifying is you can hold a branch or object behind you, during putting, as long as you don't move it. My opinion is moving the branch would become a stance violation if the tree branch retby manglin - General Discussion

Well the question in the rule book was QuotePDGA Q: Can I hold onto a branch or other object behind my lie while putting? So my interpretation of their answer is you shouldn't take a branch that crosses your stance or flight path and bend (a.k.a. move) it behind you. If the branch is behind you naturally, you can use it as a brace for balance if need be. I don't think shaking the branch asby manglin - General Discussion

Hogman, I will help as much as possible. If the date is April 13/14, my chances are low. If it's most other weekends, my chances of helping are much higher. Don't let that sway your choice, but just wanted to give you a heads up. Thanks, Micahby manglin - SN Tournament Information
So the website is still under construction. I'm looking forward to seeing what content is on the website. prodigydisc.com was registered on March 29, 2011 and last updated Dec 31, 2012. It's registered to Lavone Wolfe in Huntsville, AL. It appears knology.net is the company building the website. http://www.networksolutions.com/whois-search/prodigydisc.comby manglin - General Discussion

QuoteI cant see how you will be able to lose a disc on this course... no water...no deep ditches... holes are very short...I am assuming you have never played Tombigbee 1 before. I wasn't asking the question in terms of speculation. At the 2008 Fall Classic we had to actually enforce the time rule on a guy trying to find his disc on hole 17 in the first round.
