Will be there tomorrow playing ADV. Joshby Hilltopper - SN Tournament Information
Thanks Bill for running a great event to honor one of the best golfers I ever had the privilege of knowing. I miss Greg every time I play hole 3 at Hartselle. He must have aced it a hundred times. Joshby Hilltopper - SN Tournament Information
Tom, Where are 7 and 8's t pads supposed to be? Joshby Hilltopper - General Discussion
To get there take hwy 12 east off the Foley Beach Express. Take a right onto Wolf Creek Drive. The course is on the right past the 90 degree turn.by Hilltopper - General Discussion
Hey guys, I was at the beach all week and heard from a local at Fairhope about the new course in Foley. Are there any Foley locals out there? I'm in Orange Beach a lot and would like to help with course improvement. Right now it needs a LOT of work. The course is clear, but the tee pads are very bad. 2 seem to be missing entirely, and apparently Tom Monroe designed it, so it probably needs tweakiby Hilltopper - General Discussion

Here is the situation: Brad preregistered and Bill checked him out but misread the results. He just saw an event and moved on. Bill feels it was his fault. He has not used a sponsor exemption. He asked the bod to use his exemption on Brad. At the same time Brad says he played in an sn qualifier in Sequoya, GA. His name was not on the results page. He says it is a mistake. As most of you know, my wife is a touring player and we have discussed many times how to increase participation in the women's divisions. She loves playing in ADV women's division (she did today in an SN event in Rainbow City). What the BOD wants is for women to feel included and supported at the SNAC, SNDC and SNPC. I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks, Joshby Hilltopper - Women's Forum

Sorry I didn't pick this up sooner ladies, I've been avoiding the forums. My wife has banned me for the most part, but let me explain the decisions behind the adv/am women situation. 4 years ago we had 2 am women's divisions, am and adv. We had healthy turnout in both divisions. Then things went sketchy. We ended up with only 3-4 women in the entire series playing adv. The problem was and isby Hilltopper - SN Board of Directors

The original order is for 150-200. Plus women's tags. Some tags cost more than others. We ordered 100 more. in midseason as memory serves. Again I can look up the exact numbers if you want. Joshby Hilltopper - SN Board of Directors

Taxman, For Hartselle, we posted every registered player and how they got in if they did not have points (sponsor excemptions, points errors, or TD exemptions). I can't speak for the other events. Joshby Hilltopper - SN Board of Directors
Yes, it does include shipping. I'll look up exactly what the price was but using my immediate math skills I would say bout $4 per tag more or less. We put the tags up for bid every year and accept the lowest bid. Joshby Hilltopper - SN Board of Directors

Whew! You have a baby and all heck breaks loose on the forums. Let me answer a couple of money questions: 1. The SN gave Memphis $2780 in bag tag monies collected, which means we sold 139 bag tags last year. 2. Here is a list of reciepts of bag tag money: SNAC $1120 9/14/2009 $460 10/19/2010 $360 1-Apr $660 6/2/2010 $100 7-Jun $80 For the most part, I didn't write down whby Hilltopper - General Discussion

I just want to say thanks to Memphis. I think they did a very good job overall. The weather was great. The courses were in great shape. A TON of volunteers (I'm super jealous of that). As for the criticism, no one ever likes every course. The am payout was fine. Last year, Hartselle didn't have as much overhead as Memphis, so the payout was a little better on the am side. Also, when you host aby Hilltopper - General Discussion
From my perspective, having talked to the Memphis crew, I am sure things will turn out well. They know what they are doing. I can tell you that the SNPC payout will be HUGE! The SNAC payout will be just as big. Josh PS Even when the SNAC hasn't paid out as expected, it still blows every other am event in the country out of the water in turns of payout vs entry. A big thanks goes out to team Mobile for a great doubles championship. I had a great time being in the gallery for the lead open card. Probably the only advantage to Jeff and I being on the last ADV card. Pros play sloooooow. :-) Joshby Hilltopper - General Discussion
I will have ballots available at the SNDC this weekend. There will also be ballots in Memphis. Joshby Hilltopper - General Discussion
2011 bag tags will not be available until the pro/am champs in September. We will have those tags in Memphis. Also, Athens will be selling 2011 SNPC discs beginning at the dubs championship in Mobile. Joshby Hilltopper - General Discussion
