Announcing Henry Harrison Haydel - 3 years ago
Judy and Jeff Haydel are happy to announce the arrival of a new disc golfer! Henry Harrison Haydel was born at 9:29am on Tues. Sept 29th. He weighed in at 8lbs and 2ozs and measured 21inches long. Judy and Henry are both resting comfortably at the hospital here in H'burg now and hopefully will be coming home tomorrow. Brother Sam is intrigued by his new little brother and is also doing fine.by cajundop - Women's Forum

As one of the SN BoD members when the rule concerning non-playing TD's and points was discussed the way I remember the rule as reading was that a non-playing TD could earn 2 points in the division that they played in. If the TD had no prior history with the SN then the points could be assigned as the TD chose. In Russ' case his history would show that his points go to PRO MASTERS . To add to what Judy has said, no one is going to be turned away. We have a cap on the division size simply due to the size of the temporary course and a desire to not have 6-somes. If/when we reach the cap of a given field, the people still trying to sign up can move into a different division or try and find someone else who is already signed up to move to a different division. we cant speak to any of that until we know what groups are in what divisions and we wont know that until sign ups are over. if you want to practice I suggest playing the CEMENT pads on the original course.by cajundop - General Discussion

Michelle, mixed doubles is a division that Judy and I have offered at numerous doubles events that we host. OK results are above. We had 70 brave souls for a VERY cold 2 rounds on Saturday. We played one round of each course and total par was 114. We had 58 come back for more on Sunday for doubles and we all seemed to have a blast. Those rounds were 2 rounds of the lower (old) course and par was 120. OK let's see if I can hit all of the questions: By mixed I mean male/female teams. Will I have any Ice Bowl merchandise? No. I did not get it registered in time to order and have it in stock. I will, however, have a BUNCH of disc golf gear in to prize out. On Sunday we will be offered an extra division that isn't often played. We will be offering a mixed doubles division. Entry fee will be $40 a team and it will be open to all levels of player, both men and women. Mixed doubles is always fun to play and watch partner interactions. OK guys Andy has brought up a point and Judy pointed out to me that last year's entries for the doubles was MUCH lower. I wasn't aware of that, so I'll put it to a vote. Do we want to lower the entry fees for each doubles division by $10?
