Hey Lloyd, I have been out of the loop for a while with some surgury, and I was wondering if you still wanted a Hattiesburg Tournament on the shcedule. I have the 4th Annual State Games of Mississippi scheduled for June 22nd at Tatum Park. I know that I haven't talked to the club regarding this and don't know if Wade or Jamie have other plans to participate, but I'm down to help if needed. D

I hope all you visitors can make the time to see some of Hattiesburgs new courses. Tatum Park has 18 holes, Duncan Lake 18 holes, Ashe lake 27 holes and maybe Skye and Joel can give you a tour around The Rusty Tractor 9 holes. And if your headin out 49 north hit up the new 9 hole course in Collins designed by Ransom Jones. We're looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. G

Well let me chime in too. Great job Mikey, Big Brown (eye), and NO Team. My favorite event each year, and it didn't hurt that I played well also. You guys always remember the details.The courses were in great shape and I enjoyed the changes. I appologize for the small turnout from the hub city but we'll do better at recruiting next year. If we could only have known abouit the free beer in advance

Shane, It looks like closer to 14 or 15 players from Hattiesburg will be in attendance. At least 2 pros should be coming, Massive J. and Tony Bass. You may wanna have some portable baskets available in case you top 100 players. Sounds like it's blowing up!!!! If you build it, clean it, organize it, and schedule it.....They Will Come!!!!!
