When I used to play Advanced Masters, we used to mostly play from the Pro tees and be pooled with Adv/Pro divisions. Of course, there was also an AM Master division for some of that time in SN's as well, but once it was done away with, I don't recall there being problems with us playing from the long tees. ECDGC will be putting our 2012 Bag Tags up for sale, and having an open forum meeting of the club at 10:00am on Sat, 1/21/2012. The meeting will take place by hole #1 of the Pirates Cove DGC @ PSC / UF campus in MIlton. I had a similar experience to Disc Jazz, After winning or placing in most Adv Master tournies I was in, and winning the SNAC on '08, I moved up to PM, and got stomped with DFL after DFL. However, I seldom play in tournies any more because I got tired of donating to the other PM's, and I just wasn't really improving my game to their level. Looks like some beautiful weather tommorow for the ECDGC's 6th ACE RACE. I believe we have about 53-54 players attending @ Blue Angel in the morning. I'm really looking forward to having 2 seperate ACE RACE courses set up. All of the previous Ace Races I have attended have played the same course twice, so this should really be a fun new twist!!

I was always told that the SNC's are supposed to be a celebration/end of the season blowout for the players that participated in SN tournies all year long and kicked in thier $2 every time they played. It was never supposed to be like the PDGA championships, or so I was told Why do these big time golfers even want to come play in the SNC's anyway? Most likely just to bag all the cash

Making everyone buy a bag tag is like having a membership fee, and all the proceeds go to the pro divisions. Not really fair to the Am's, as they would get nothing out of the deal. Just my opinion.

Ya'll are completely off your rockers if you think you can have a SN tournament, and no one will drink beer. I'm not saying it is a good or bad thing, but I have been to tournaments in dry counties, on no alcohol allowed in the park courses, the TD said no drinking, and people were still drinking beer and doing other stuff. It's pure fantasy to think you are going to be able to change that

You will loose alot of the best SN players that you are trying to attract to Ft Walton to the Dogwood in Memphis.
