Why didn't you hold a tryout for team semmes? I may have wanted to tryout. Throwing out excuses that you and your group of players couldn't have made the Mobile tryouts is a cop out. If you wanted to avoid it looking shady that you made a team before the real Mobile tryouts you should have held a tryout as well. Everyone knows there are many talented players in this city - call it want you will -

Will these discs be available in lighter weights for ladies? Like 160s? And when? Looking forward to trying out new plastic! Good luck to all the athletes who signed on with Prodigy. None of us know how successful this may or may not be.. one thing is for sure, it is going to be exciting to watch.

Keith, Payout will be added when the TD report is complete... I believe that's how the PDGA adds the information on the website. We will also post here when it's up. Been a busy week for both of us trying to catch up on the things that fell to the way-side while getting ready for this tournament. Thanks so much for supporting the tournament as a sponsor and a player who didn't get to make it.

Regarding Saturday morning sign-ups: If you can absolutely 100% tell us that you are coming, then post today. People who bring money first obviously have first pick in shirt sizes. This storm may be delaying people on getting here, this is the only reason the exception is being made. Once again you have to be absolutely sure that you are coming. South will be played in its original layout (layout before it was changed). We will not use the Super South layout. Hole 6 will still play across pond following hole 5. You will play the original hole 16 across pond at picnic. Benches.

Player's Party Information: Saturday, September 1st - 6:00pm - 9:00pm at The Shed Barbeque & Blues Joint located across the street from University of South Alabama Campus. There will be a live band! Keg beer will be available at no charge to the players, until it's gone. Putting Contest will take place at Player's Party. We will also display the player standings at the party!

Because of recent renovations to the course and the threat of the storm, the original idea of a Super South layout with different tees and pins was scrapped. The course, for this tournament only, is being moved to its original positions, though with three differences. Please pardon our progess as the University expands its campus. Holes 1-5: Original. If you are not playing this tournament, but would still like to participate in a large way...we would love to have your service as a volunteer. We will need volunteers at Municipal Park and USA to help with spotting. As well as volunteers at all three parks to help replenish water and other small things that may pop up. If you are mailing your Entry Fee - the last day to put the check in the mail is MONDAY, AUGUST 27th. All Checks must be in hand by Thursday, August 30th. The final day for registration will be FRIDAY, AUGUST 31st at Municipal Park. We will only accept cash on Friday. Registration on Friday at Municipal Park will be from 2pm - 7pm. I read a few pages ago that you will do player check-in only until 5:30 on Friday. Is this still correct information, or will you have someone there a little later for us out of towners coming in. I think we should arrive around 6:30pm. Thanks!

I have some exciting news for everyone!! I've been working on this for a while, and I am thrilled to announce that we have successfully bridged the gap between the Mobile Sports Authority and our great sport! Just this week, the Mobile Sports Authority signed on as a partnership with this event by contributing $3,000 towards our expenses!! We are very excited for them to be a part of this
