We are planning a unique format. There will be 2 rounds on Saturday as usual, shotgun start. The 3rd round on Sunday will also be shotgun start. After the 3rd round there will be a cut. Only the players in the money will play the 4th round. The 4th round will be staggered start. This lets those players who unfortunately have nothing to win, have the option of getting home early. This also allows for a good gallery to follow the final grouping for all 18 holes instead of just 9.

I have the trophies for Open Men, Open Women, Masters Men ordered. If you are a Grandmaster and are thinking about coming, I need to know. If there are enough of you, I will open up the GM division and order a trophy.

The Howard Johnson Express Inn has rooms starting around $42. You can probably beat that on Priceline.com. I have seen people get the Fairfield Inn in Homewood for as low as $22 a night. Just request the Homewood area. Remember, once you book with Priceline, you can not cancel.
