What are points for?

How Points Work

Here is how the points system works. Players receive 2 points for entering and competing in a tournament. They will receive an additional point for each player in their division that they place higher than within that tournament.

The season runs from January 1st through December 31st. The top 90 players are invited to the Southern Nationals Championships and have 30 days after the end of the season to enter the finals.

After 30 days, any player who has earned Pro points can enter the SNDG Pro Championship. Entries are then taken in the order they are received.

* Winnings in a pro division may include cash and prizes. In amateur divisions, only prizes are received by players. Prizes given out for extra events (CTP, etc.) may be included in this total.
